Hey everyone! Let's get this party started 30 seconds early!
what's up everybody and welcome to our weekly fantasy football chat!
I'll answer your queries, help you set your lineup, and do other stuff
I also happen to be eating french fries
as always, check out my weekly position rankings at www.zoneblitz.com
I would in fact grab Kenny Stills if you've got the roster space. I ranked Stills just two spots behind Colston this week, but that's because of his potential to put up a goose-egg
he's also got huge upside, as evidenced by the last couple of weeks. So anyone who doesn't want to start Colston, injured or otherwise, I've got no problem leaving him on the bench until he proves something
he had a great matchup last week and didn't do anything with it
so its tough for me to tell you he'll do something with this good matchup
though No. 1 receivers have done some damage against the Jets
quick housekeeping note: you can follow me on Twitter @MPLSMaggio, and I answer email questions at email@example.com
absolutely not. In fact, I'm in a league where I've got some bye week issues and am strongly considering starting Colston, Stills and Moore, the latter two who I picked up this week
and Brees has been so good lately. Makes Colston/Sproles all the more frustrating…
the full PPR makes it really close, but I probably go Moore because he's got a better schedule, will score more, and doesn't have a bum shoulder
but props to Shorts for playing through it
Torrey had a decent game earlier against Cleveland
Tate will have Revis on him. Smith gets targeted more than Tate does. I'd definitely play Smith over Tate
Interesting. Colston has the best matchup, though Washington's got a nice matchup too. I have those two ranked the highest, but Hopkins literally one spot behind Washington
I think Hopkins is just a little more risky, so I'd sit him
I agree wholeheartedly. Vereen was a big part of the offense before he went down, and I believe he will be when he gets back. I think it's completely fair to consider him an RB2 upon his return and look to make upgrades elsewhere
it'd sure be nice to have your Bush handcuff, but I think I prefer Moore and Mathews to Shorts and Bell. That obviously changes if Bush gets hurt, but he's not hurt right now so you've got to go with what's in front of you
I don't have any special insight into that one, but Colston has generally toughed it out throughout his career and played through myriad injuries
No problem. Love Team Ramrod!
Random nugget: did anyone else know that the guy from those AT&T commercials with the kids is now a featured guy on SNL?
he plays a great straight man, so there will be plenty of bits for him I'm sure
I would, just trying to stack the deck in my favor. That's my whole philosophy behind potentially starting both guys and Lance Moore. Obviously I crap out if Sproles/Graham go bananas, but I feel like there's going to be enough love to go around that I could get two touchdowns by starting the three of them.
well, for this week I'd look to see if Marlon Brown is available. He scored against Cleveland last time they played
Dexter McCluster is also an interesting guy to watch. Seems like they've started to figure out how to actually use him
Lance Moore is another guy to consider. He was dropped in most leagues, but came into the season as the No. 2 in NO before he got hurt
and promptly scored upon his return last week
