yeah, it is nice to see some passion out of him. I can talk Bears all day, but don't want to scare away all the non-Bears fans :)
Not idiotic at all. I've got Reed ranked 2 spots higher.
I doubt you'll see Reed out of my top 10 at TE the rest of the season. Certainly no lower than 12
unless things turn dramatically in Washington, but I don't see that happening with their schedule
I've been wrong before. So has yahoo.
That's a GREAT question. In watching them play it's not that Colston is getting open any less. There doesn't seem to be an injury there.
The Patriots game was the first time anyone had shut down Graham. So really Brees hasn't had to go away from him at all.
If teams start playing their best cover corner on Graham, that should in theory open things up for Colston in the coming weeks. That was the recipe New England used, but Talib is also a unique player in terms of his size on that side of the ball
can't really put a 5-10 corner on Graham and expect Brees to not chuck it high and let Graham go get it
NO has also run a little bit more, though not a ton. They're getting 3 RBs involved every game, though. And you've got to take deep shots to keep defenses honest, and that's Meachem/Stills territory
so that just leaves Colston with the over-the-middle stuff, and Graham's eating up more than his fair share of the pie there at this point
Potentially, yeah. Though at this point Reed might even fetch more value for you.
I still hate their new website
their mobile actually got a ton better with the change, but I can't stand going to yahoo sports anymore
Colston? Yeah, you've got to. He's got too much of a track record. Eventually teams are going to have to sell out to stop Graham or he's just going to continue his King Kong-like rampage through the NFL. That will allow others to do more damage, with Colston high on that list of next guy's up
but I absolutely am cool with anyone who wants to bench Colston regardless of matchup for the time being until he starts to get targeted more.
I've got him ranked 17th this week in part due to all the byes and in part due to his juicy matchup. But I can totally buy into starting a Randle or T Williams or even a harry Douglas instead if you don't want the Colston risk
I'm probably a little pot committed to Colston at this point based on my take on him as a buy low two weeks ago, but I think you can just buy lower now
I think both guys are good plays. Reed is the higher ranked guy for me based on matchup. Denver was terrible against TE last year and have been pretty bad again this season
teams have to pass to keep up, and Reed is the No. 2 target on that team at this point
The Lions gave up a TE TD last week, but it was the only one they've allowed all season, and that's who Witten gets this week
I can buy Witten being seen as a slightly safer play, but Reed no doubt has the most upside
